At Summit, we know that one size rarely fits all.

That’s why we regard every project with careful consideration, tailoring a unique approach to the individual’s needs and challenges they present. We want to ensure that our client’s projects are not only successful but that our design solutions exceed expectations, bringing their vision to life through innovation, collaboration, and community support.

Our Maintenance Management department is staffed by a team of former NCDOT and Municipal Roadway Engineers, Roadway Inspectors, and Public Works Directors, all of whom have a vast knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair and preservation practices. Our team specializes in parking lot and roadway condition assessments. We also perform resurfacing and preservation activities & inspections, contract development, and asset inventory.

What best fits your needs.

Our asset management and maintenance services offer a comprehensive solution to optimize your assets’ lifecycle while reducing costs and increasing efficiency. With our innovative technology and experienced team, we can help you track, maintain, and manage your assets with ease. Improve your operational reliability, minimize downtime, and maximize the lifespan of your valuable assets.

Our experienced professionals are well-equipped to perform a Pavement Condition Survey (PCS). This survey is industry standard in evaluating the condition of your parking lots and will include repair/longevity recommendations, estimated cost, and a priority schedule for planning.

As part of the assessment, we will provide an online dashboard that maps out your assets and will classify the pavement conditions as Good, Fair, Poor, or Very Poor rating with specific details from our survey and recommended course of action to address these issues.

Utilizing the dashboard takes the guesswork out of project prioritization. Our asset management dashboard allows our customers insight into ongoing projects and updates the conditions for prolonged lifecycle planning based on actions taken to maintain the asset.  Your team will be able to see the latest action taken to address the condition of any given asset. This program provides your organization with detailed insight into your asset management plan.

Understanding Assets

Asset inventory is a specialized service that assesses the condition of various infrastructure installations within a particular area. Utilizing GPS and GIS mapping technology, our inspectors can locate and conduct comprehensive assessment surveys of assets within a client’s specified range.

Summit maintains accurate, up-to-date records of these assets, which helps us develop a strategic schedule for timely upgrades, repairs, and replacements. If an asset requires any work, our maintenance management team can establish cost estimates and contract the work based on the estimates provided.
