I am an integrated professional, hard working since 2004, I’ve seen a lot!! My first steps were in my country (Venezuela) in a telecommunication company. They taught me the values of integrity, responsibility, loyalty, being part of a brand. I worked there for 10 awesome years and performed a lot of tasks and positions from answering a phone to developing training and projects to improve metrics.
I migrated to the USA in 2017 and as soon as I could, I started to work in the construction industry, and to be honest, for simple necessity…But then I got interested in creating safe work environments and promoting safety and prevention culture for me and my coworkers. But how? OSHA came to my attention and since then I’ve been working in the safety side of the industry, developing inspections, delivering safety programs, and leading OSHA 10 & 30 trainings for the construction industry.
I got a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Carabobo University-Venezuela, OSHA 510 & 500 certifications and some Psychology and Emotional Intelligence knowledge.
I like being part of Summit as a Safety Specialist, because I feel I’m resuming and using all my experience and learning in this position. People here are so nice and close, everybody seems to be grateful and happy to work here and that says a lot of a company. And I AM LOVING IT!!!!

Can you tell us about your background and what led you to become a safety specialist?

The more I get to know about the way to do things in a better and safety way, the more interesting became to me and to be more involved in how to share knowledge with others.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Family activities, sharing time with friends, outdoor activities, nature walks and traveling.

What’s something that people don’t know about you (that you are comfortable sharing)? Unique skills, educational experience, Previous work experience, etc.

I feel confident managing conflicts, coaching and giving good advice.
