Charlotte Fire Station #43

This project consists of the new construction of a one-story 12,802 SF fire station and supporting drive lanes, parking lot, and hardscapes. This new fire station is located at 421 Clanton Road in Charlotte. The facility will include the construction of a new 3-bay fire station with offices, an exercise room, kitchen, living quarters, sleeping quarters, toilet and shower facilities, and an enclosed apparatus bay for emergency vehicle parking.

Construction primarily consisted of utility installation and re-location, earthwork grading, typical shallow foundations, reinforced concrete, IFC masonry load-bearing walls, structural steel framing, concrete and asphalt paving, and hardscapes. Construction is underway and substantial completion for the project was in June 2020.
