Catawba County Jail Expansion

The Catawba County jail expansion project involved the design and construction of an addition to the existing combination courthouse and jail facility. Our team also provided structural engineering services. The addition included 256 beds, two (2) stories, and two (2) mezzanine levels.
Our team provided the following services:
- Field investigation of existing conditions
- Schematic design consultation, material studies, and report
- REVIT modeling of the building structure
- Design development structural drawings
- Structural construction drawings
- Review and edit of structural sections within the architectural specifications
- Assistance with bidding as needed
- Review of all structural shop drawings
- Response assistance to structural RFI’s
- Site visits
- Record drawings
