Increasing Safety on Roadways and Extending the Life of Resources

Summit Design and Engineering Services (Summit), powered by Blyncsy, can deliver clients the most up-to-date and accurate data on your City’s roadways using the most cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies.

By combining the use of Blyncsy’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) product, Payver, and Summit’s insights, our partnership will provide innovative ways to manage resources like pavement and roadway assets.

An example of how Blyncsy’s Payver can be used in combination with Summit’s expertise is by using dashcam imagery and AI to automate pavement management, providing PASER and HD-PCI Scoring, Cracking Rates, Paitline Scoring, Asset Inventory, and Condition Assessments.

AI Vision Delivers Intelligent Insights on Your Roadways

Summit uses Blyncsy’s Pavyer technology to put dashcam footage to work. Pavyer takes that everyday dashcam footage and enhances it with artificial intelligence that has the ability to detect cracking automatically and provide PASER analysis and striping conditions.

Payver technology also allows Summit to detect roadside assets that require maintenance in near real-time. This includes fallen or leaning signs, roadside debris, and street lighting issues.

Pavement

Efficiently Manage Your Pavement

By applying machine learning algorithms to dash cam imagery, Payver can automatically detect where and when your pavement needs maintenance. Blyncsy prides itself on partnering with the industry’s most innovative and respected consulting firms, like Summit.

Cracking and Potholes

Payver can automatically detect cracking and potholes within 1% accuracy of LiDar. With Payver, pavement maintenance issues can be detected in near real-time so that you can preserve the life of your pavement. Rather than sending out LiDar trucks to scan roadways, Payver can automatically and passively deliver the same results at a fraction of the cost. Payver’s insights can help predict the Remaining Service Life of your pavement in order to extend the useful life of your resources.

Active Transportation

Using Payver helps push toward Vision Zero, which has set a goal to shift how we prioritize safety in our everyday transportation system, which in turn helps to save lives. Payver can rate the quality of your active transportation markings such as:

  • Bike Lanes
  • Cross Walks
  • Sidewalks
  • Intersection Crossings

Roadside Assets

Manage Roadside Assets From Your Desk or Mobile Device

Using dash cam imagery and machine learning algorithms, Blyncsy’s Payver can automatically and passively detect roadside asset maintenance issues.

Signs

Summit uses Blyncsy’s Payver technology to automatically detect if signs are leaning, missing, or damaged in near real-time so that they can be fixed or replaced efficiently. Missing signs can lead to injuries or even fatalities and are considered a safety critical issue that needs to be addressed in a timely manner.

Curb Detection

Curb-side and gutter debris are both significant contributors to flooding. Using Blyncsy’s Payver technology, Summit can find and clear debris effectively and cover large areas simultaneously.

The technology has the ability to detect:

  • Flooding
  • Trash
  • Blockages
