Waterstone is a mixed-use development situated in Hillsborough, consisting of two distinct neighborhoods. Waterstone Estates comprises 139 single-family homes, while Waterstone Terraces is a 114-unit townhome neighborhood. These two neighborhoods will provide ample housing options in the area. Moreover, Waterstone is also home to the Durham Tech Community College and the UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus.
Our Architecture department designed the restroom facilities in the public park of this community, which is adjacent to the soccer field. The restroom facility was designed using all exposed glue-laminated wood frame construction, steel joinery, and cedar tongue and groove siding. These facilities are also heated and house a separate women’s and men’s room, each meeting ADA requirements. Our Construction Management team was responsible for the project management services.
