Hillsborough Pavement Preservation

Summit prepared the annual capital improvement program for Hillsborough, an initiative which involved assessment and remediation of roadway pavements within the Town’s limits. The PCS was utilized and updated for determining repair methods and quantities for the seasonal paving contracts.

We reviewed and adjusted street priorities, determined cost of repairs, cost of overlays, and prepared and advertised all bid documents. Once the paving and repair work proceeded, we managed all inspection and testing in accordance with NCDOT specifications. Summit is providing consulting services for contract resurfacing and pavement preservation related to the recommendations from the PCS.
