Project Description

We provided engineering design for four project segments in widely varying settings. One sidewalk extension included a segment along Eno Mountain Road to Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area, requiring intensive cultural and natural resources research during the design process. Another greenway section connected Gold Park to Eno Mountain Road. The third segment, which joined Eno Street and Nash Street, was a sidewalk reconstruction, updating the structure to current safety and aesthetic standards mandated by the Town. The final sidewalk extension section was along Calvin Street. In total, the sections were 1,900 linear feet.

We provided complete engineering design for multiple sidewalks and extensions, including:

  • Surveying
  • Environmental Analysis
  • Roadway/Trail Design
  • Hydraulic Analysis/Erosion Control
  • Traffic/Pedestrian Management Plans
  • Signing and Pavement Marking
  • Permitting
  • Construction Documents
  • Construction Engineering and Inspection
