Cross Charlotte Trail, 7th-10th Street

As a part of our Master Services Agreement (MSA) with the City of Charlotte, our team provided geotechnical and construction materials testing services for the Cross Charlotte Trail Connector. The section included for this project is from 7th to 10th street as well as the intersection of Central Avenue and 7th street. Our team performed field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt per the NCDOT standard procedures.
Site observation and testing activities included:
- Observation of Concrete Sidewalk Placement
- Concrete Testing for Slump, Temperature, Unit Weight, Air Content, and Batch to Placement Time
- Observation of a Proofroll of the Subgrade Soils.
- Density Testing
- Compressive Strength Testing of Concrete
