We were the sole firm in designing the modernization and expansion of the U-6038 computerized traffic signal system in Belmont, North Carolina. Our team was supporting the NCDOT – Transportation Mobility and Safety Division (TMSD) for this project. The work completed by our team included new controller and cabinet assemblies at approximately 14 signals. We also prepared signal designs and electrical details for 2070LX controllers using ASC/3 software at all locations.
Additionally, our team designed the new CCTV digital camera system for 6 locations, with wireless broadband communications. We also prepared the necessary Utility Make Ready plans, cable routing plans, fiber splice details, and network details for the fiber optic communications network for the system.
