Project Description

Summit provided engineering design services for the extension of SR 1970 (Commercial Blvd) from the end of the existing Commercial Blvd. to SR 1803 (Crest Road) in East Flat Rock, NC, of Henderson County. This proposed two-lane local road was designed with ongoing grading and future civil site plans in mind to accommodate future commercial and economic development.

Project services provided by Summit include roadway design, hydraulic design, erosion control, work zone traffic control plans, and pavement marking plans. Summit’s expedited schedule allowed for the design and plans to be completed in record time.
