Project Description

We are providing the feasibility study for the Vaughan Furniture Site project, a 14 building, 400,000 SF complex at the gateway of the City of Galax. This industrial building is on a 5.2-acre site with over 400,000 square feet consisting of 11 attached buildings. The Vaughn Furniture site was a key employer for Galax, VA for over 70 years.

The building was previously a furniture factory and warehouse and has been vacant since 2015. The vision for this site is to be a mixed-use residential and commercial development that could hold apartments, retail, restaurants, hotels, and more. The transformation of this site would support the City’s commitment to growing their downtown while also preserving their rich history.
