Project Description

Summit is providing geotechnical, construction materials testing (CMT) and special inspections for a 20,000 square foot energy plant that houses chillers and boilers. This plant will provide distributed hot and cold water for heating and cooling purposes throughout the Wake Technical Community College (WTCC) campus and incorporates advanced solar and geothermal technologies to enable intense energy savings and promote sustainability.

The project includes initial site clearing, excavation, and grading, as well as the installation of roads, bridges, and access points. Appropriate site drainage and retention ponds will also be constructed to facilitate the first phases of the Eastern Wake Campus expansion for WTCC.
