In the coming weeks and months, we will be doing a series of blogs to explain what we mean when we say we bring value to our clients.

To kick it off, we will define what we believe differentiates us. Words and phrases like innovation, partnership, serving our communities, and project excellence may seem like catchy buzzwords to some.

To us, they are our values and guiding approach to helping our clients.

Innovation

“We are nimble and deliver innovative solutions” is one of our values published on our website.

So what the heck does that mean.  

We monitor, demo, and integrate the latest and greatest technology to ensure we find efficiencies to effectively serve our clients.  

But investing in technology is not enough if we don’t simultaneously invest in our people to leverage the technology.

Honestly, there have been times when the innovative solution did not add the value we hoped for. Still, we continue to evaluate technology to be more innovative.

Ultimately, suppose we find something that truly adds value to our clients or our ability to serve them. In that case, every single stumble is worth it.

We value helping our clients get the biggest bang for their buck. At Summit, partnership means our program delivery approach with the State Employees Credit Union or investing in government affairs to help NC DOT secure the resources they need to invest and maintain the nation’s 2nd largest transportation network.

We understand we are only as strong as our clients. Through the partnerships we foster, we can understand their challenges and collaborative develop solutions.

By helping shape the communities we serve, we are ultimately helping serve the community members. Whether assisting a locality in writing a winning grant or developing a stakeholder engagement process as part of a community plan, we believe our work can improve lives.
